The first part of Kieslowski's trilogy on France's national motto: Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, Three Colours: Blue, tells the story of Julie(Juliet Binoche) who faced with the death of her husband, a famous composer, and her daughter in a car crash, tries to deal with her loss by leaving everything and everyone in her life behind her. In French with subtitles.
